Did you know that The Lake Forest Shop has the most fabulous tailoring department on the North Shore? Our ladies have been perfecting wardrobes for years and years and have a very loyal following. We welcome you to bring in items from other stores or even pieces from your closet that you haven’t worn in years which may need a little updating. Our turn around time is speedy and we know you will be pleased with our attention to detail.

Peek through your closet for an old blazer that may need a lapel narrowed or a dress that may need a little hem to bring it up to date. Maybe you found a perfect winter coat last season but never had time to get it tailored to fit just right? Come on in to see our ladies in the tailor shop. What’s old can be new again!

We are so excited that Alexis Bittar jewelry designs are now being carried in the store!  Alexis Bittar uses gold, silver and semi precious stones in his work and much of his jewelry has texture and off the beaten path architecture.   He is a master with Lucite pieces and in 1990 Alexis was hand carving his first Lucite collection from his own apartment.  While trying to sell his pieces on the streets of New York he was discovered by the fashion director at Bergdorf Goodman’s which led to his creation of collections for brands such as Burberry and Michael Kors and even creating pieces for the Sex and the City ladies.  Currently, Alexis Bittar has boutiques in NYC and Los Angeles.  We know that you will love his unique and colorful pieces, so stop in the store soon!
