Our in-house expert seamstress, Nataliia, has been working at The Shop since 1996 and began running The Shop’s alterations department in 2020.
Growing up in Ukraine, she developed a passion for design early. After attending college for design, she opened her own shop in Kyiv designing women’s gowns, men’s suits, and outerwear. Her clientele included the social elite and many Ukrainian celebrities.
One of the reasons our clients love Nataliia’s work is because of her extensive fabric knowledge. From leathers to silks, she knows how the piece is suppose to move, how much give it requires, and how it should be cut and stitched.
