Dana (Rebecca) Gordon, a third-generation jeweler, was raised in the industry, often spending time at her father's factory. At sixteen, she traveled to India and created her first collection, which sold out in 48 hours. Despite initially planning to pursue law, she continued designing jewelry while studying corporate communication and business at the University of Texas in Austin. After graduating from the Gemological Institute of America in 2007, she founded Dana Rebecca Designs. Her brand aims to create accessible luxury jewelry that feels as comfortable as a favorite t-shirt and as special as a little black dress, with pieces designed to become cherished keepsakes for women.
