Kujten was born from the long-standing friendship of Carole Benaroya and Stéphanie Eriksson, who met as teens and shared a passion for fashion. In 2012, Carole sought to bring passion into her financial career and turned to Stéphanie, an expert in knitwear and cashmere from her work at Joseph’s Parisian styling department. Their love for cashmere and a trip to Mongolia inspired them to start their own brand.
